Scarce! "Angels Flight" by Walt Wheelock with an introduction from W.W. Robinson, illustrations by Ruth Daly and photographs by Marlene Wilson, was first in a series of historical Los Angeles pamphlets published by Wheelock's La Siesta Press in the 1960s, at the dawn of the historic preservation movement.

"Angels Flight" is based on research in the Angels Flight Railway Company archives, and chronicles the history, construction and function of Downtown Los Angeles's beloved funicular at a time when its future was uncertain due to redevelopment plans.
